2008 -- Alaska Here We Come

Some of you did not receive the daily emails that we sent home while on our Canada/Alaska motorcycle trip in 2008.  I thought I would try and up date the information to a blog for those that might be interested.  I'm also hoping it will give me experience in writing a blog for future travels.

We traveled 7,355 motorcycle miles while on the trip.  This does not cover the distance while on the Inland Passage ferry.

Ed drove the motorcycle from Fort Collins to Mount Vernon, WA.  While there we were able to visit his nieces and Ed was able to contact a roommate from the past.  Bev had to attend a conference in LA before we took the trip, so she flew to Mount Vernon and met Ed there.

We were able to also visit Whidbey Island, Deception Pass and Mt Baker while in the NW Washington area.
